Dear Regional Leaders:
This month has been a month full of emparting tools and wisdom to so many fantastic pastors and leaders from all over! Our RED Conference in New York and our WTAP NextGen 2018 Summit were so much fun! These events take time and effort to execute properly and as my wife likes to say, “lots of PRAY, PLAN, & PREPARE”.
Our Youth Convention is just a little over a month from now and I wanted to take a few mins to give you a few tips on how to promote an event successfully!
The question is how do we promote Convention more successfully, here are some tips:
HOW TO PROMOTE AN EVENT SUCCESSFULLY
1- Call all the youth leaders and get them excited, make sure they have all the promo they need etc.
2- Meet with all the leaders or as many as possible (Promoting in person is better)
3- Distinguish which are your top churches and visit your top 3-5 Churches
4- Meet or speak to the pastors if they don't have youth leaders
5- Ask your presbyter when the next Pastors & Ministers Meeting so that you can go and promote it yourself, answer questions etc.
6- Set up table and promote at any ministries events in your region. Speak to your regional leaders Woman, man, education etc.
7- Let us know if you need more promotional material
8- Promote on your social media platforms
9- MAKE ALL EVENTS PERSONAL - this mean take ownership of it, make it your event and do not promote it as someone else.
10- Remembers we promote to every church not just WTAP Spanish A/G Churches.
Finally remember the regional leader that registers more youth from their region wins a $250 Visa Card and the local church that registers the most youth wins a Friday Night Pizza Party.
